If falling sales suggest that a change in strategic direction is required, an imaginative brand campaign can do wonders in reconnecting with a target market. HomeForm, the parent brand of Kitchens Direct, Sharps, Moben and Dolphin, launched a £12million campaign last week to inject new life into its brands. Just one day after the campaign was launched HomeForm went into administration. HomeForm's failure wasn't down to the decision to invest in the campaign, but recognising too late that it was needed.
