New York based photographer, Jamie, has been posting a series of captivating and somewhat spooky animated photographs on her blog ‘From Me To You’. Through exceptional execution (and a huge amount of skill!) Jamie has managed to make tiny details in each image move in a lifelike, yet unnervingly ethereal, way.
The beauty of using animated gifs is that, unlike other animation technologies like Javascript or Flash, they're as versatile as any standard static image. The mastering of the gif opens up a world of possibilities; make website visitors stop and look twice, send moving images within emails... even add an animated image to your Twitter profile... yes, we know: it's very cool.
