The updated Twitter logo seems like a natural evolution, a slightly more grown up version of the original logo. This development supports a change in brand guidelines: from now on, we must only use the bird to represent Twitter, not the letter 't'. Or, as Twitter's Creative Director puts it, "Twitter is the bird, the bird is Twitter". Fair enough, we're all for consistency! We're just relieved to see the Twitter monster can still be found lurking in the negative space.
