Edward Cann Senior Web Developer

After studying Engineering Science & Technology at Brunel University and completing a short programming project for Motorola, Ed realised that his real passion was for web technologies and website development. Before joining James Good Limited Ed headed-up the development team for a marketing company call BAM in Swansea. BAM specialised in developing sophisticated student union portal websites for universities throughout the UK. During his time at BAM Ed was responsible for managing the team and growing the team to eleven. Ed was also responsible for systems training for new developers as well as website training for clients. In 2009 BAM relocated to Cheltenham and Ed joined our team.

With Ed’s extensive development knowledge, his project management experience and his training skills, he his absolutely perfect for the role of our senior web developer. Ed is now responsible for the implementation and delivery of all of our web projects.

Ed specialises in PHP development with MySQL databases and Javascript. The majority of our sites are now developed using Drupal, an open source Content Management System (CMS).

A self confessed geek, Ed is happiest when learning new technologies, pushing the boundaries of existing technologies and solving problems in new and exciting ways. He loves a challenge, nothing is ever too problematic or too much trouble. Ed is now enabling James Good Limited to deliver our uncompromising standards across web as well as design.
