They might well be the self-proclaimed “defenders of the natural world”, but it seems Greenpeace couldn’t give a stuff about ancient culture – as they callously left lasting marks all over a 1,500 year-old heritage site, that Peruvian authorities have protected with great care.

Their message read, “Time for change! The future is renewable”. Greenpeace have apologised profusely, but you’ve got to wonder if there’s any point in apologising for such an act of defiance?

We’re all for imaginative communication, but it’s worth taking some time to ensure your messages land as intended – instead of completely alienating the very audience you’re hoping to attract!
